As wedding and event organisers, We love our job, We adore meeting new clients, We are passionate about creating our clients dream day and We delight in blogging about all things wedding and events.

Nothing excites us more than colour trends for brides and grooms for the coming year.  It leads the way to an explosion of ideas, combining possibilities of pulling together unique and creative styles to incorporate that colour.

Gone are the hum drum, albeit classical colour trends, which have been replaced with what we deem to be a truly magical, exciting, different….. PERFECT colour.

Drum roll please …..

It is with great (and truly exciting pleasure) that we introduce to you, Pantone’s colour of the year ….. “Greenery”.  Now, it might not instill in you the same flurry of excitement that we felt but hold on, lets think about it, lets think about the possibilities, the magic.

So, what does this mean for you as a bride or groom? Quite simply, pretty much everything really. Incorporating Greenery into your wedding colour scheme is a perfect way to tie in some lush pieces, without blowing your budget.

Pantone describe Greenery as:

A fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.”

When we became aware that this years colour trend is, truly magical, exciting, different and can be incorporated in a number of magnificent, stunning ways be it in the bridesmaid dresses, hair styling, floral bouquets, invitations, scenery for the photographs, we were passionate to research and yes, blog all about it.

This colour allows you to get so creative with your wedding style and decor. It also brings the outdoors right in to your wedding venue.  It is all about nature and the natural world.  Picture stunning cascading bridal hair, with subtle hints of ivy intermittently woven throughout, imagine a secret garden themed wedding held at a venue bursting with foliage and mature trees, think bridal bouquets and table centre pieces abundant with natural wild flowers.  As we write this, we literally are super excited about the unlimited possibilities.  The list truly does go on.

So we leave you for now and we as do, we know that you too will be busy researching the possibilities for Greenery.  It is a simply stunning way to incorporate the natural world as a special guest at your extraordinary day. Enjoy.
